International iFLY summer games 2021, Geneva, Switzerland – iFLY European Cup de Mailly

Unfortunately, from the other events planned for 2021, Eurocat Carnac and Texel have been canceled due to covid. This is not likely to happen to the iFLY Summer Games, as it is a privately organized event on private property.

Let’s focus on this main event of iFLY class, 4-10 September 2021.

In the week just after, for those who can arrange it, there is the great regatta of the south (including additional iFLY training) taking place in Hyères:

14.-19. September :

Duc d’Albe and Coupe des Iles d’Or, Hyères,
southern France, with iFLY training before. It is a mix of long distance and short distance racing, ideal for iFLY.

As on the WE between our Geneva and Hyères event, the sail GP will be racing in St.Tropez (11.-12.Sep) I plan to have a look at the action there. It is a perfect fit, as St. Tropez is on the way between our two events. Who joins? The idea is a common viewing of the SailGP action with the iFLYs on the water.
