This race is the most popular international long distance Race sailed in the Mediterranean region
Extreme conditions offered the long-distance regatta “Duc d’Albe”, which is organized by the club “Multicoque de Hyères” on the French Mediterranean coast. This regatta includes long distance courses around the islands of Hyères.
With gusts in the upper 6 Bft range and rough seas, the iFLYs won the foiling class with gold (Michael Miller) and silver (Emmanuel le Chapelier ), placing ahead of Flying Phantom and Nacra 20.
