Why the iFLY15 Stands Out

This is achieved through cutting-edge components, including solid carbon-titanium foils and the patented FlySafe® technology. About the Designer: Michael
Michael, a German aviation engineer, has dedicated his life to sailing innovation. After running several engineering companies and working for industry giants like Airbus and BMW, he turned his passion into a profession. He founded the iFLY15 project, assembling an interdisciplinary team of 20 international sailing and avionics experts. Since 2015, Michael has devoted 100% of his time, energy, and love to the iFLY.

- Flight Performance: The iFLY15 has been flying since 2016, with 240 units already sailing worldwide. With a lately doubled production capacity, the demand is only increasing.
- Speed & Control: The iFLY15 lifts off in as little as 7-8 knots of wind and stays airborn in as little as 6 knots of TWS. It can reach 16 knots of boat speed in just 6-7 knots of wind. The highest recorded speed on the iFLY15 is an impressive 31 knots, and even at this speed, the boat remains fully under control, allowing for quick deceleration at any moment.
- Versatile Performance: Whether sailing single-handed or 2Up with a crew weight of 180 kg, the iFLY15 offers both high-performance foiling and easy foiling for great fun without compromising speed. It’s the fastest boat around the race course when comparing equally skilled amateur sailors.
