Wow! What a great proof of foiling sea-worthyness in die-hard conditions at Duc d‘Albe
Club Multicoques de Hyerès. Yesterday first place 
in Foiling Boats division, today 2nd over all races 
. 65 had teams registered for this year’s edition. Very strong winds, gusting 30kts. (measured, not estimated) and a built sea state of up to 3m brought everybody to the limit and beyond. Watch out for the hot videos that will be published soon 
. Upwind foiling was fantastic on my iFLY RAZZOR with mainfoil differential. Passing so many boats… Downwind was very tricky, especially on one tack, as the huge waves did not come in the direction of the wind. Did some nice stunts. So thankful for the great flight stabilization on iFLY, otherwise would not have been able to fly in those conditions. Today’s race was 2-3h long, sailing a long distance in front of Porquerrolles Island. At the end I missed 1st place by 4min 33’. Pitty. as I reached the starting line 5min late, due to replacing a part that had broken on land…. Speed potential of RAZZOR clearly fast enough to win
