Des conditions extrêmes ont été offertes par la régate de longue distance « Duc d’Albe », organisée par le club « Multicoque de Hyères » sur la côte méditerranéenne française. Cette régate comprend des parcours de longue distance autour des îles d’Hyères.
Les « Summer Games iFLY » ont eu lieu une nouvelle fois cette année sur le Léman à Genthod. Cette année fut la première édition de la « iFLY European Cup le Mailly ».
